Job Description - Senior Hydrogeologist

We’re looking for a Senior Hydrogeologist/Technologist to support groundwater resource projects.
Based in Northern California, you’ll learn from experienced scientists, engineers and project managers who are ready to collaborate with you. You’ll gain valuable experience working on data interpretation and visualization, quantitative modeling, report writing and coordinating logistics for field activities. The base salary range for this position is $94.57/hour to $147.72/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Here’s what you’ll need

:
Bachelor’s geology or hydrogeology or civil/water resources engineering; Masters degree preferred
20 years of work experience in a consulting role or for a public agency
Ability to acquire a California Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license
Knowledge of and experience with groundwater investigations, drilling and well installation, aquifer testing, and associated data analysis approaches
Knowledge of the field work methodologies and procedures typically used in the groundwater/water resources industry
Experience with ESRI Geographic Information System software, techniques, and analysis
Experience with Microsoft Office software
40-hr HAZWOPER certification or the ability to attain this certification
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
Groundwater modeling experience
Other quantitative skills (e.g., scripting/programing, experience with 3D visualization tools, or experience with statistics/geostatistics)
