Your Role

You will play a crucial role in making the ZURU product a state-of-the-art architectural system. You will define new product concept to grow the ZURU product versatility and potential, and see them through completion, working with our development and manufacturing teams.

Your Impact

Through your efforts, you will significantly impact the quality of the ZURU product and help us become a pioneer in the prefabricated architecture world. Your input will be crucial to our multidisciplinary team to ensure the product quality and design standard.

Additionally, you will actively participate in the design of exclusive properties demonstrating the full potential of our products.

• Support the development of architectural products from a systems perspective, ensuring seamless articulation and functionality of all components.
• Define and develop additional products to expand our base system and increase design flexibility
• Apply knowledge of modular construction techniques, materials, and building codes to create innovative and practical solutions.
• Continuously improve the product aesthetic and functionality, elevating the overall quality of our architecture.
• Work with our Product Development team to ensure the highest quality of our products, optimizing for aesthetic appeal, user experience, and manufacturing feasibility.
• Work with our Software Development team to integrate products into the ZURU software, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
• Work with the manufacturing team to design and test building prototypes, establishing protocols to test and refine our products for continuous improvement.

• Minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in Industrial Design, Architecture, or Product Design
• 8+ years of experience in relevant role, preferably in architecture or in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Rhino, and other relevant design tools.
• Very strong communication skills, both technical and visual, to effectively convey design concepts and ideas.
• Ability to use and develop new tools without being afraid to challenge traditional work methods and processes.
• Capacity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team and to move project forward in a fast timeline.
• Knowledge of building code and standards
• Self-driven
• Willingness to travel is a plus.
