Job Description - Senior Installation Quality Control Manager

Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Installation Quality Control Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead quality control audits on installations, perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances, and track related costs. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between the field team and the quality team, ensuring high standards of installation quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires frequent travel to various installation sites.


Responsibilities



  • Lead Quality Control Audits:


    • Conduct comprehensive in person and remote quality control audits on installations in accordance with established processes and standards.

    • Develop and maintain audit schedules and ensure timely completion of all audits.


  • Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:


    • Identify root causes of installation non-conformances through detailed analysis.

    • Develop and implement effective corrective actions to address identified issues.

    • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and make adjustments as necessary.


  • Track Field Returns and Costs:


    • Maintain accurate records of root causes for field returns.

    • Analyze and report on the cost implications of field returns and non-conformances.

    • Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of costs.


  • Bridge the Gap Between Field Team and Quality Team:


    • Facilitate clear and effective communication between the field installation team and the quality control team.

    • Provide guidance and support to field teams on quality control issues and best practices.

    • Ensure that feedback from the field is integrated into quality control processes and improvements.


  • Travel to Installation Sites:


    • Travel to various installation sites to conduct audits, support field teams, and address quality control issues.

    • Ensure that all installations meet company quality standards and customer expectations.



Required Qualifications



  • Education:


    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.


  • Experience:


    • Bachelor’s degree with 2 - 3 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on installation processes or

    • 6 -10 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on installation processes.

    • Proven experience in leading quality control audits and root cause analysis.

    • Strong background in bridging field operations and quality control teams.


  • Skills and Competencies:


    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.

    • Ability to travel frequently to various installation sites.
