Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year

Location

Los Angeles, CA. Hybrid schedule with four days per week in the office and one remote day permitted.

Candidates must have 5+ years of directly relevant insurance defense litigation experience, strong Law and Motion experience, and be able to work from our Los Angeles office four days per week. California Bar admission in good standing is required.

Job Description

• Handle insurance defense litigation matters with a high level of independence
• Draft and respond to substantive motions, briefs, pleadings, and other court filings
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive written arguments
• Manage discovery and help drive cases strategically from inception toward resolution
• Analyze case issues, exposure, and litigation strategy
• Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, opposing counsel, and the court
• Manage deadlines and multiple active matters while maintaining high-quality work product
• Collaborate with partners and other attorneys on complex litigation strategy

Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
• California Bar admission in good standing
• Strong Law and Motion experience required
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to independently manage litigation responsibilities and deadlines
• Strong communication, judgment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in the Los Angeles office four days per week
