Job Description - Senior Insurance Financial Analyst - Management Reporting (Hybrid)

The Corporate FP&A Analyst is responsible for supporting execution of the company's strategy by providing reliable financial reporting & analysis. You will assist in Enterprise financial reporting, including the maintenance and development of financial models. This team manages a complex data ecosystem that feeds financial reporting. You will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from either Madison, WI 53783 or Boston, MA 02110.

Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based upon the needs of the role. Depending on the candidate pool, this position may be filled at a lower level to maintain alignment with experience and qualifications.

Position Compensation Range:

$80,000.00 - $131,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • You will produce enterprise financial reporting packages.

  • You will work with a cross-functional team to maintain a data ecosystem that feeds financial reporting and produce commentary on financial results.

  • You will build financial models and analyses that support results reporting, including current year results, forecasts & projections and industry data.

  • You will provide ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions and support management across the organization.

  • You will assist in the development and maintenance of metrics/scorecards that measure the company's execution of its strategic focus areas.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of financial reporting.

  • Prior insurance experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, GCP, and/or Tableau.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial statement and management reporting.

  • Demonstrated experience performing financial and operational analysis.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, data modeling, and data mining.

  • Solid knowledge and understanding of insurance accounting and operations.

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

  • Travel requirement up to 5%.
