Senior Interior Designer Description

Our client, a commercial interiors firm, is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to join their team. This role combines creative design, space planning, furniture specifications, and client relationship management. You will lead projects from concept through completion, present and sell design solutions, and collaborate with sales and project teams to deliver successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of interior design experience, strong presentation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently. This is a great opportunity to use your full range of talents to transform client spaces through tailored design. 

Senior Interior Designer Responsibilities

•    Lead commercial interior design projects from initial programming and space planning through design development and installation
•    Develop furniture layouts, design concepts, material selections, specifications, drawings, and presentations
•    Build and maintain strong client relationships, guide clients through the design process, and lead design presentations and meetings
•    Collaborate with sales teams, architects, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders
•    Manage multiple projects, balancing deadlines, budgets, and resources 
•    Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development and collaboration
•    Stay current on industry trends, furniture products, materials, and design technologies

Senior Interior Designer Qualifications 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design required
•    7+ years of professional interior design experience required
•    Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required
•    Strong client relationship-building, sales, presentation, and communication skills required
