Senior IT Security Manager

What You’ll Do:

The Senior IT Security Manager will have the opportunity to play a key role in building and enhancing Century Communities information security program. You will be the lead information security professional on the team and refine and execute the roadmap to establish and mature security practices and technologies across the organization. Century Communities recognizes the importance of having an advanced security posture and look to this role to bring the expertise and experience needed to keep us ahead of today’s major technology threats.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Drive the ongoing improvement of Century Communities enterprise cybersecurity program while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and frameworks.
• Promote a culture of security awareness in alignment with current threats and provide trainings, both internal to IT and externally, to increase user engagement.
• Establish and streamline a cybersecurity audit program.
• Coordinate security audits, including penetration tests, and prioritize and review remediation efforts based on the results.
• Partner with Operations and Applications Teams to help design and review system architecture to ensure security best practices are implemented.
• Lead information security projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, including building the business case, managing the budget, and ensuring completion on time/scope/budget.
• Manage team members who monitor key attack vectors and govern security technologies for threats or vulnerabilities.
• Help refine and elevate the cyber incident response plan.

What You Have:

• 5+ years of direct experience in cybersecurity required.
• Broad experience in the following security domains:
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Endpoint Security
  • Application Security
  • Network Security
  • Data Security and Privacy
• Experience with security frameworks and controls (NIST, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge of industry best practices, compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, etc.) and laws relating to data privacy and protection (CCPA, etc.)

Extensive experience analyzing security components of a key systems and technologies to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement
