Job Description

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for delivering top-notch technical support? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the frontline hero, providing expert onsite and remote support for a range of IT solutions including print networks, software applications, and web faxing systems. As a technical leader, you will guide our help desk team, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless IT operations for our valued clients. Responsibilities


  • Provide onsite and remote client-facing IT support for print networks, software, web faxing solutions, and other IT infrastructure.
  • Resolve and/or escalate customer (internal and external) software, network interface, and application issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Served as a technical lead for help desk teams, providing day-to-day direction and assistance to associates.
  • Coordinate with service providers for escalated technical issues and manage relationships for next-level support internally and externally.
  • Assist with hardware installations, including configuring IT infrastructure for printing and managing print queues across the customer base.
  • Conduct server management, maintenance, and regular monitoring to ensure network security and identify vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test trial software and hardware, evaluate network requirements, and ensure viability.
  • Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) by providing timely and effective technical support to customers and participating in escalation processes when needed.
  • Contribute to the development of technical and client service process documentation as assigned.
  • Generate monthly reports on customer scan activity for billing purposes and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications


  • 5-8 years of technical service experience with previous customer-facing roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical certifications (e.g., A+, Net+, MCSA) preferred.
Skills


  • High level of technology proficiency in all areas required (server monitoring, software/hardware, networks).
  • Superior customer service and interaction skills.
  • Working knowledge of printers, multifunction devices, fax, scanner, and plotter configurations.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand networking protocols and print system requirements and their interactions.
  • Multitasking abilities with strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and provide day-to-day technical direction.
  • Effective communication skills (including written and verbal) to a diverse population - both technical and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently, especially in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong team player with excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
