Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience working in an AWS environment, and a passion for creating scalable and efficient applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities

  Develop and maintain microservices for backend applications.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain AWS services including DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM, and EKS.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure application responsiveness, scalability, and performance.

  
  


• 
  

  Design and develop APIs.

  
  


• 
  

  Deliver solutions that meet both technical and business requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Stay current with developments in backend technologies, applications, and programming languages.

  
  

Mandatory Skills

• 
  

  Proficient in Java, with strong knowledge of advanced features introduced in Java 11, 17, and 21.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with various software design and architectural patterns.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to write reusable Java libraries.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of microservices architecture using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with the Scala programming language.

  
  


• 
  

  Hands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, and Spinnaker.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB and relational databases.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  
  

Nice to Have

• 
  

  Knowledge of Docker, Kafka, and Datadog.

  
  


• Experience deploying applications to AWS using EKS.
