Senior JV Accountant

The Senior JV Accountant role is an in-office position based at our Irvine office, ideal for candidates within a commutable distance. This full-time, exempt role offers a pay range of $95,000 to $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Please note that this position is not open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship.

As a Senior JV Accountant, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day accounting for our joint ventures. You'll handle journal entries, balance sheet schedules, and account reconciliations, while also supporting monthly close and preparing financial statements. This role is hands-on, detail-oriented, and ideal for someone who’s confident working independently and understands the bigger picture behind the numbers. What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior JV Accountant:

• Collect, analyze, verify, and report on financial information to document the company's financial performance and position to make well-informed financial decisions.


• Prepare forecasting requirements, support the drafting of annual budgets, and project expenditures to generate periodic statements and ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards.


• Manage cash flow processes by preparing cash flow statements, treasury cash summaries, and monthly cash flow projections.


• Develop budgets, KPI reports, forecasts, and executive-level financial reports that provide clear insights for leadership.


• Prepare general ledger journal entries and perform account reconciliations across treasury, revenue, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities.


• Maintain subsidiary ledgers and other critical financial and accounting records with accuracy and consistency.


• Collaborate with the operations team to support monthly commission calculations and handle various ad-hoc financial tasks.


• Ensure compliance with all financial deliverables while fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability across teams.


• Assist with ad-hoc finance assignments as needed, contributing flexibility and support wherever required.

You’re a great fit for Senior JV Accountant if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)


• MBA in Accounting and Finance (highly preferred but not required)


• CPA license (highly preferred but not required)


• 3+ years of professional experience in a similar position


• Big4, Mid-Tier experience (highly preferred but not required)


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a growing environment


• Proactive mindset with a forward-thinking approach


• Collaborative and team-oriented attitude
