We are seeking a driven and dynamic Senior Key Account Manager / Business Development to join our team in Monsey, NY. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional to thrive in a fast-paced, high-reward environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale cosmetics sales, though candidates with proven experience in other sales-driven industries are encouraged to apply. As a Sales Representative at Unlocal, you will be responsible for managing and expanding client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. You will play a key role in promoting and selling a variety of high-end cosmetic and skincare brands to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. Your ability to engage clients, negotiate effectively, and close deals will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distributors to drive sales and expand market reach.
  • Proactively reach out to warm leads and leverage extensive company-provided industry contacts to secure new business opportunities.
  • Actively manage assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service, retention, and consistent growth.
  • Identify and pursue new sales channels and opportunities within the wholesale beauty and cosmetics market.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, emerging brands, and competitor activities.
  • Present and pitch premium beauty and skincare brands effectively to prospective clients, highlighting product benefits and value propositions.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to maximize profitability while fostering long-term business relationships.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and ongoing customer support.
  • Maintain detailed sales records, track performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, driving revenue growth for the company and maximizing personal earnings potential.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the wholesale cosmetics, beauty, or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to close high-value deals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with luxury skincare and cosmetic brands is a plus.
  • Previous experience in B2B sales, account management, or distribution sales is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.

Compensation

  • Base salary: $120,000.
  • 1% profit commission on sales, with an average of $100 per deal, providing strong earning potential.\
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE) exceeding $250,000, including a competitive base salary and performance-based bonuses tied to grant acquisition and funding success.
  • In-office position based in Monsey, NY.
