Job Description - Senior Learning & Development Manager - Manager & Leader Success

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Manager and Leadership Development Strategy You will lead Ripple’s manager and leadership development portfolio from end to end: setting direction, shaping priorities, and driving outcomes. Your job is to build on solid foundation, shape what comes next, and improve quality, impact, and innovation across manager and leader development at Ripple.


New Manager and Leader Success: You will own the learning experiences that help people managers succeed including flagship manager development programs, senior leader onboarding experiences, and the learning moments that build practical skills over time. You will evolve them based on business need, leader feedback, and your own expertise.


Leadership Development You'll own Embark, Ripple’s annual leadership development program for high-potential talent. The program has a solid foundation including a formal nomination process, and visibility in succession conversations. Your opportunity is to strengthen the program based on where Ripple is headed.


Manager Community and Peer Learning You will shape the forums, roundtables, and experiences that help managers learn from one another. You will define what this community can become over time making it relevant, high-value, and genuinely worth showing up for.


AI Products and Tools for Manager Effectiveness You will evangelize and advance our AI Executive Coach, Pascal. You’ll drive adoption, train the model, and include Pascal in training programs. You’ll also develop AI solutions for people managers to help their teams succeed.


Cross-Functional Partnership and Portfolio Impact You will partner closely with HRBPs, senior leaders, and cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into learning strategy, and ensure our strategy is aligned to company priorities.


In practice, this means:



  • Leading a multi-program portfolio with clarity, independence, and strong judgment

  • Facilitating learning experiences for audiences at all levels including senior leaders

  • Building trusted relationships with leaders and partners across the business

  • Using data, feedback, and business context to improve programs over time

  • Bringing a clear point of view on what the portfolio needs next

  • Moving AI ideas from concept to prototype to adoption to improve manager effectiveness


WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • 6+ years of experience in Learning & Development, leadership development, talent development, or a related field, with ownership of programs or portfolios

  • Expertise in areas such as coaching, feedback, performance conversations, psychological safety, leader effectiveness, and other key leadership frameworks

  • Excellent facilitation skills, leading engaging sessions in person and virtually for groups ranging from new managers to senior leaders

  • Strong program and project management skills, including moving multiple initiatives forward with focus and follow-through

  • Experience building credibility with leaders across functions, levels, and geographies

  • Using data, feedback, and business context to evaluate impact and turn program outcomes into a compelling business narrative for leaders

  • Experience conducting needs analysis and translating findings into practical learning solutions aligned to business priorities

  • Experience building or leading AI-enabled tools, workflows, or learning experiences that tackle real user problems
