Senior Litigation Attorney

A leading law firm is seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney with over 10 years of experience handling complex civil litigation matters. This role requires expertise across all stages of litigation and offers opportunities to work on a diverse caseload including commercial, real estate, tort, and contract disputes. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional legal representation.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of civil litigation from inception through trial or settlement
• Handle a wide range of disputes including commercial, tort, real estate, and contract matters
• Provide strategic legal advice and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on high-quality service
• Contribute to business development efforts and expand client base

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license in good standing to practice law
• 10+ years of experience in civil litigation
• Proven ability to manage complex caseloads independently
• Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
• Demonstrated courtroom experience and litigation success

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in bankruptcy law or related proceedings
• Prior appellate or federal court clerkship experience
• Portable book of business or established client relationships
• Background in high-value or high-profile litigation cases
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
