Overview

Our office is located near Lake Merritt, Oakland, and we seek an with 7-10 years’ litigation experience.  We prefer an in-house attorney, but remote or partial remote may be considered.  We are conveniently located just a few blocks from the 20th Street BART Station. 

Responsibilities

Job Specifications/Requirements:

·         At least seven (7) years of experience in some or all of the following substantive areas:

·         Personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, professional liability, and/or construction defect

·         Experience in managing a litigation caseload

·         Experience drafting legal documents, such as briefs, motions and discovery requests

·         Experience conducting research on legal issues associated with the case

·         Excellent analytical and writing skills

·         Strong communication skills, including communicating with clients, team and partners and providing timely reporting and appearing in court

·         Must be admitted to practice in California
