Job Description - Senior Logistics Coordinator

Summary:

The Senior Logistics Coordinator oversees all international shipment activities and supports the domestic shipping department with daily activities. The employee must understand the company's needs, dealing with different suppliers, Projects and suppliers while ensuring shipments and documentation all comply with all company policies and project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as a single point of contact for international logistics for TEI staff and freight forwarders on questions and clarifications.
Facilitates meetings between freight forwarder and TEI staff to clarify project requirements and questions.
Build and maintain TEI International shipping processes.
Create and maintain standard international logistics forms and templates
Requests and manage all international quotes for freight forwarding.
Ensure all international shipments are quoted and have logistics POs in place prior to collection from the supplier.
Reviews all quotations to ensure they are complying with TEI requirements, Reviews HTS codes to ensure they fall in line with historical use. Will create a TEI database of HTS code usage for reference.
Facilitates ITB process on shipments that project teams identify meet the customs requirements.
Reviews TEI open orders for international shipments and ensures Gateway open order report is aligned with corresponding orders and has the latest updates on status.
Tracks international ships from Supplier PO placement through delivery to the destination.
Serves as single point of contact for all international invoice issues.
Ensures all disbursement fees are justified and paid with 10 days of invoice.
Supports the domestic shipping department as required.

Qualifications:

BS/BA degree or at least 5 years of previous experience related to position.
5-10 years international import/export experience in O&G
Extensive experience with HTS codes, TIB and general US customs processes and policies
Ability to handle multiple activities and deadlines with changing priorities
Strong collaboration skills
Data administration with 100% accuracy
Excellent quantitative, organizational and analytical skills
