Job Description - Senior Logistics Sales Executive

Senior Logistics Sales Executive

Our client is looking to add a Senior Sales Executive to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for prospecting potential clients and leading in-person and virtual sales engagements as well as other duties that are outlined below.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active sales pipeline, healthy close rate and engage prospects through multiple channels and our client’s CRM.
Work cross-functionally with internal teams to develop creative enterprise-level solutions leveraging our client’s entire portfolio of services.
Attend industry and networking events in the Cincinnati/Northern KY market.
Help develop implementation plans and support the Account Management team with new customer acquisition.
Support the creation of an annual S&OP budget.
Understand and execute pricing strategies for all services and lead RFP/RFI responses.

Experience:

High school degree or equivalent is required.
Minimum five years of sales experience.
Ability to travel as needed (estimated 20-30%).
Experience selling to executive-level decision-makers.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required.
A can-do attitude and team mindset.
Advanced knowledge of transportation and supply chain terminology and concepts.
Growth mindset and results-oriented approach.
Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
Expert-level proficiency in Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.
Working knowledge of customer technologies including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) preferred.

This position offers a competitive base salary.
