Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in San Mateo, CA to design and develop supervised classification, ranking, and estimation systems Requires a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience solving problems using machine learning and data science solutions. Prior experience must include two (2) years of developing systems with natural language models to handle nuances between different languages to ensure document similarity and text classification; building solutions for content recommendation tasks and personalized user experience; developing offline data processing pipelines to process and transform large volumes of data to be consumed by machine learning systems; performing AB tests to track key KPIs and evaluate impact of machine learning solution on business; productionizing designed machine learning systems into online services that power end user experiences; and in executing duties, utilizing Spark/Databricks, Deep learning, natural language models, Python, SQL, Scala, Kubernetes, Tensorflow, Machine Learning.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
