Position Overview: Bongards Premium Cheese is looking for a dedicated, dynamic and experienced professional to serve as our Sr. Maintenance Coordinator at our facility in Norwood, MN.  This is a day shift role, approximate hours are 8 am to 5 pm, Monday thru Friday.

What You’ll Do:

• Act as Administrator for maintenance system, input and distribute all preventative maintenance.


• Ensure that all unplanned or emergency maintenance is captured and recorded in the maintenance system.


• In conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, create any needed Preventative Maintenance for new equipment as directed by the Manufacturer.


• Monitor work order completion and escalate any issues to Maintenance Manager.


• In conjunction with Maintenance Parts Coordinator, maintain parts inventory and assist with year-end audit preparation for all maintenance parts.


• Maintain capital and plant project reports for the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.


• Maintain maintenance system to effectively display reports of plant equipment in relation to cost of normal depreciation and mean time to failure. 


• Assist Management with tracking plant equipment details.


• Maintain capital project purchase requisition spreadsheet for Maintenance Dept.


• Provide work order training and preventative maintenance training for Maintenance personnel.


• Manages Powered Industrial Truck maintenance orders and repairs.


• Support the Maintenance Parts Coordinator in maintaining parts inventory.


• All employees are responsible for food safety and personnel safety and have a duty to report any issues or concerns.


• All other duties assigned.

What You Bring:

• Must have above average skills in Microsoft Office products.


• Must be able to learn various portions of the ROSS system (ERP) to include purchasing, inventory and maintenance.


• Must be able to learn and act as subject matter expert on Maintenance System (Maintenance Connect).


• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.


• Must be able to learn and operate various types of office equipment


• Abide by Confidentiality Policy.


• Knowledge of AUTOCAD a plus.

Working Conditions: 

• Able to walk up and down stairs.


• Familiar with an in-plant maintenance department setting.


• Long periods of sitting.


• Varied periods of sitting, walking, standing, and plant floor responsibilities.
