This position is for a Senior Manager within Boeing Global Services (BGS)

Supplier Management

(Level M) with the responsibility, accountability and authority (RAA) to build and lead a diverse team of managers and individual contributors in support of BGS-Government Spare part requirements. The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for Supply Base Strategy & Subcontracting, Supplier Project Management, Proposal Board Support, Special Projects and Initiatives for the Top Supplier statement or work in

Hazelwood, MO.

This position requires proven ability to operate in a collaborative environment developing strong relationships across teams and functions to ensure overall success of aggressive business objectives in a dynamic environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
Lead a diverse team of Supplier Management professionals performing activities related to the acquisitions in support of BGS-G Spare part procurement, long term contracting, supplier performance management, terms & conditions, and supplier recovery.
Provide strategic leadership, knowledge and oversight of negotiation processes and tools, advance the implementation of strategic contracting strategies, and participate in negotiations as necessary. Develop and build a compliance-focused team culture.
Ensure organizational, business and technical strategies, goals and objectives align with business partner vision/strategy. Meet cost savings/affordability targets, mitigate risk, measure progress to plan.
Establishing an agile and responsive supply base with rapid response capabilities required to support the BGS business in a competitive and global market place.
Develop and execute organizational strategies that accelerate growth, reduce cost, mitigates risks and improve supply base performance.
Establish partnerships and relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports. Builds strategic partnerships with suppliers and/or organizations to advance Boeing's position.
Lead or managing projects and/or teams.
Supplier Chain / Supply Base or Supplier Management.
Effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, and collaborating on multi-discipline teams.
Build and develop an empowered team through coaching and mentoring, and provide developmental opportunities and job assignments to enhance employee performance and expand capabilities.
Inspire a culture that creates an environment where diverse, high-performing, proactive and engaged team members can excel and flourish.
Champion a culture of communication that conveys organizational messages to facilitate the accomplishment of workgroup, project or process goals. Employ Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) to actively communicate and engage with employees, peers, customers, and stakeholders, keep others informed.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
5 + years' experience negotiating subcontracts and managing supplier performance.
5+ years' experience leading supplier contract negotiations.
5+ years' experience managing supplier relationships.
5+ years' experience with performing risk management to minimize potential risks.
5+ years' experience in Supply Base or Supplier Management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external)
Experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with frequent expedited procurement demands
