Senior Manager-Supervisor-Lead of Electronics Manufacturing Operations and Production.

Desired Skills/Experience: (please note: applications with 'MOST' of these skills will be considered)
- Experience working in a similar managerial/supervisory role for an Electronics Manufacturing firm.
- Experience overseeing PCB (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) build and repair team; should be able to mentor-train Electronics Board Technicians using various testing tools (multi-meter, volt-meter, etc.) and other tools (soldering iron, needle-nose-pliers, etc.) to test and de-solder/solder components (resistors, capacitors, etc.) off and on to PCB’s.
- Experience overseeing (should be able to mentor and train) Wiring Teams in areas such as wiring harness assembly/installation, power supply connectivity, using tools such as wire crimpers, cutters, wire spreaders, wire connectors, etc.
- Well versed in Materials: materials ordering and materials planning using a MRP (or ERP) Software with metrics and reporting
- Should have current/hands on experience with most of the following: Printed Circuit Boards, complex Electronics Wiring (point to point wiring, power supply connectivity, wiring harnesses and assembly), PLC (programmable logic controllers), Materials planning, ERP Software, Shipping and receiving-Inventory, electronics manufacturing Quality Assurance/QC, Facilities Management, Inventory, Vendor/Supplier Communications, P&L budgetary responsibility and Manufacturing (materials, scheduling, labor) reporting,
- Hiring-training-mentoring, Employee Supervision, Communication/coordination with other departments such as R&D.
- must have Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience Driving, Mentoring and Motivating wiring, board technician and materials teams.
- Experience working in a hands-on-manager role with heavy emphasis on Quality Control and External business Customer Expectations
- Past or Current Experience working in an Electrical Engineering Role or an Electronics Assembly Technician or testing Role: must have a solid understanding of electronics internals basics (AC/DC, wire gauges, testing, power, harnesses, etc.)
- Must Be able to read and understand electrical diagrams: wiring, one line diagrams, electrical blue prints (including power, harnesses, housings, etc.)
- Experience preparing production schedules: including time lines and deadlines, man hours/headcount planning, budget calculations, production analysis, inventory levels (inventory availability), make vs. buy recommendations in relation to current and upcoming projects and product-system-component production/assembly projects
- Experience working in an ISO-9000 type environment is a plus
- Training or Education: BSEE or ASEE or Electronics Technical or Military Electronics Training
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills and the ability to work with a sense of urgency.
- Solid MS Excel Skills; Experience with Manufacturing (MRP or ERP) Software.
