Come be a part of what\u2019s next.\n\nThe UCAN TV Financial Planning \u0026 Analysis team is seeking a talented Senior Manager to support Netflix\u2019s Scripted TV Series team. This Senior Manager will play a key role in driving financial planning, providing strategic insights, and partnering cross-functionally to support the growth and operational excellence of our Scripted Series content. This role will also serve as a critical and integrated business partner to the Scripted Series Leadership Team.\n\nIn this role, you will need to be a big-picture thinker, a self-starter, and an analytical thought partner with an eye for detail. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and embrace ambiguity and change. You must be a solutions-oriented problem solver and be able to communicate complex ideas using both qualitative and quantitative means to a broad spectrum of stakeholders. The position is based in Los Angeles and will report to the Director of FP\u0026A for UCAN TV.\n\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\n\n * Lead near- and long-term P\u0026L and cash flow forecasting for the Scripted Series business\n\n * Own headcount planning and people cost management\n\n * Conduct financial scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making and business scaling\n\n * Develop and enhance financial KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to drive insights\n\n * Partner cross-functionally to evolve financial frameworks supporting both management and GAAP reporting\n\n * Prepare and deliver slate review presentations, synthesizing performance across the Series portfolio\n\n * Support the implementation of dynamic financial planning tools and drive automation across systems and processes\n\n * Coordinate forecasts and consolidations across multiple stakeholders\n\n\n\n * Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP\u0026A team\n\n\n\n * Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and outputs as the business evolves\n\n\n\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\n\n * Candidates are required to be highly analytical \u0026 strategic and be strong, effective communicators\n\n * A sound understanding of related accounting guidance \n\n * The successful candidate must display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level executives. This person must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics. \n\n * Netflix is fast-growing with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties. Candidate must be motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to work effectively autonomously\n\n * Candidates with prior experience with and a passion for content will be prioritized. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of superior financial and strategic analysis and delivering actionable recommendations based on this analysis. \n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n * 10+ years of experience in an FP\u0026A, Strategic Finance, or Planning role\n\n * Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analyses\n\n * Must have proficiency working with systems and automated reporting tools (i.e., Oracle, Anaplan, Workday financials, etc.). Financial systems implementation experience is a plus\n\n * Superior proficiency with Excel and complex financial modeling\n\n * Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\n * 4-year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance, MBA a plus\n\n * Genuine passion and excitement for Netflix\u2019s unique culture.\n\n\n\n\nGenerally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $325,000.00 - $500,000.00.\n\nNetflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
