Job Summary
This role leads the development and continuous improvement of environmental programs to support all field operations. The responsibilities include building and enhancing the environmental program framework and elements to address process improvement needs, changes in environmental regulations and promotion of a continued strong environmental culture within the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support and manage our HBU laboratory program consultant to ensure our HBU labs comply and meeting regulatory and lab program requirements. Ensure our HBU labs are compliance with NELAC and other regulatory requirements. Monitor laboratories and enhance LIMS program for consistency and proper utilization for all HBU facilities as required.
Facilitate routine team meetings with key stakeholders for HBU facilities and with Corporate EH&S team for strategy planning and sharing of key information.
Oversee and support E-Manifest program requirements and work with WM Digital to support any technology needs to ensure compliance with RCRA manifest requirements.
Identify opportunities for HBU program efficiency and optimization which could include internalization of lab program elements, Power BI reporting tools, etc.
Provide guidance to field operations regarding regulatory updates/changes/activity (Internal Guidance Documents and BMPs). Requires strong technical writing skills.
Travel requirements – 10 – 15% based on business needs

Pay: The expected base pay range for this position across the U.S. is $138,500 - $179,300. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
