Job Description - Senior Manager, Human Resources
Key Responsibilities/Accountability & Authority:
Provide strategic direction and develop, implement, and monitor the goals, objectives, priorities, and procedures relating to the organizational unit.
Manage a team of HR professionals, HR budget, expenditures and monitor all key HR performance indicators.
Develop human resources financial operations by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements.
Assure compliance with all applicable laws and corporate policies/guidelines and identify opportunities to develop and implement new and improved practices/guidelines to achieve business goals.
Recommend policy and oversee activities regarding employee/management relations, employee fringe benefits, HR policies, guidelines regulations, procedures, training programs, employee selection, compensation policies, salary adjustments, and performance evaluation.
Review written materials and attend meetings and conferences to keep informed of current Human Resources trends, strategies and process improvements.
Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law, local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment.
Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
