Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Market Insights will be responsible for market research, competitor intelligence, and thought leadership as part of the Enterprise Strategy team. Reporting to the Executive Director, Enterprise Insights & Innovation and part of the broader Strategic Planning & Insights team.
The Senior Manager will conduct original and desk research on major health care industry trends, market disruptors, and new business opportunities. They will lead our competitor intelligence reporting, using AI-powered dashboards and tools. This requires closely monitoring competitors earnings, presentations, and market launches. They will work closely with the Corporate Development and CVS Ventures team to understand emerging players and growth opportunities. And, they will work with Enterprise Strategy leaders on conducting bespoke insights around strategic opportunities.
The Senior Manager will be part of an exciting, highly-visible team that works with executives across CVS Health to use data-driven insights to inform strategic plans.
This is a hybrid role (3 days a week onsite) in the CVS Health office in NYC.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years' experience with research methodologies and approaches, including interviews, focus groups, consumer surveys, search optimization, and strategic frameworks.
3+ years' experience with quantitative analysis and data analytics, using Excel and other quantitative methods.
2+ years' experience translating analysis into strategic insights for an executive audience.
2+ years' experience creating PowerPoint and creative presentations for executive audience.
Strong command of data management and reporting techniques.
Ability to work independently with limited instruction on research methods and approaches.
Detailed-oriented and excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Several years experience in US health care, either with a payor or provider.
Management consulting or investment banking background.
Experience using Alphasense or equity research portals.
Education:
Bachelors degree in social sciences, health care management, or economics and business
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$86,700.00 - $190,700.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
