Senior Manager of People & Talent Communications

**Job Description**

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of People & Talent Communications to lead a dynamic team of communications professionals in executing comprehensive strategies to inform and inspire current and prospective employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategical internal communications initiatives and supporting narratives to reach BAE Systems Intelligence and Security employees where they are. The person will also lead a team and oversee strategy for the sector s recruitment marketing efforts in partnership with Talent Acquisition. Responsibilities:

+ Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

+ Responsible for sector s executive communications plan including presentations, site visits, speeches and prep.

+ Lead the creation of compelling and engaging content for various internal communication channels including newsletter, intranet, emails and presentations.

+ Manage the sector s internal editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of communications materials.

+ Collaborate with key stakeholders, including HR and Talent Acquisition, executive leadership, and other functional leaders to gather information and align messaging.

+ Oversee the sector s intranet platform ensuring content is up-to-date, relevant and accessible for employees.

+ Measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications initiatives making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

+ Mentor and coach junior members of the communications team, fostering professional development and growth.

+ Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in internal communications bringing new and innovative ideas and approaches to the organization.

+ Oversee the development and implementation of the sector s recruitment marketing strategy.

**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ You have a Bachelor s degree in Marketing Communications, Public Relations or related field. Master s degree is a plus!

+ You bring with you 10-15 years of experience with five or more years in senior roles within public relations and marketing communications with a focus on employee and executive communications, communications strategy, content strategy, branding and strategic campaigns.

+ You re a strong leader with the ability to inspire and guide a high-performing team. You re also a good teammate who works well with others and gets inspired by a good drive-by brainstorming session.

+ You are a strong writer and editor with a love of AP Style and a distaste for passive voice, and you re able to communicate clearly with your team, peers and leaders across the organization.

+ You thrive on connection and are able to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

+ You re a strategic thinker and thrive on connecting the proverbial dots.

+ You are results- and solutions-oriented.

+ You have your ear to the ground on the latest trends and technologies in public relations and marketing communications, and you ve been able to champion some of these trends and technologies in previous roles.

**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**

+ Has read AXIOS Smart Brevity and applied it.

+ Has a passion for the field of communications.

+ Familiar with working in M365 and leveraging tools for increased communications reach.

+ Has experience working within the Defense Industrial Space and is able to turn complex jargon and acronyms and into compelling narratives.

**Pay Information**

Full-Time Salary Range: $124080 - $210980

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
