About the Role

An opportunity to join a developing accounting team for a significant carve-out entity with a global footprint as it stands up financial procedures and controls in the context of significant growth plans.This is a newly created role to help manage outsourced Tax providers in an efficient and effective way to optimize compliance cost and help identify and execute on opportunities to improve cashflows and/or effective tax rates.Working closely with the rest of Finance, IT and other parts of the business to enhance data quality, reporting and underlying processes to support the flow of accurate and timely information will be key to these goals.The role will also play a key part in supporting strategic business initiatives and operational changes that could have an impact on both indirect and direct tax footprints.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage outsourced Tax providers
Oversee tax provisioning process both consolidated and for statutory accounts
Oversee indirect tax return provision and increase automation of reporting and filing processes
Identify opportunities to increase the efficiency of refunds, registrations and related administrative tasks to optimize cashflow
Support strategic initiatives and represent tax specific (with support from outsourced providers)

Qualifications

Open minded, with strong communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels.
Willingness to roll up sleeves and help do tasks while building processes for the longer term
10+ years of general tax experience; preferably including managing outsourced Tax providers
Understanding of direct and indirect taxes both domestic and internationally (UK, EMEA, Japan especially beneficial)
Netsuite, Avalara experience beneficial

Pay Transparency

- One of our values is Stark Honesty and the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $117,500 - $195,500. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
