Job Description:
Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (Repairs & Sustainment)

Sr. Operations Manager oversees a team of Project Managers and System Planners (~35 employees) that are responsible for all operational aspects on repair and sustainment projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develop and maintain mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and others involved within the repair process. In short, oversees operational activities at every level of the sustainment organization at L3Harris. In addition, their duties will also include hiring, training and maintaining employees that report up to the position. Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Proven working experience in project management
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven record of delivering end-to-end stakeholder requirements, documenting mapping and data transformation rules, data validation rules and error handling
Ability to write epics and user stories on behalf of the business product owner, Strong business process flow documentation and diagramming skills, Develop functional specifications and training plans
Essential Functions:
Working knowledge of DOD program environment; esp. FAR, ITAR, DSS requirements
Demonstrated history of identifying significant decisions makers in customer organizations, building a rapport, and influencing decisions.
Program/Project Management training and experience a plus

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Minimum of 10 years experience in Operations, Project Management and/or Program Management.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous Experience in leadership positions preferred
