Senior Manager, Process Engineering (M5)

We are seeking a technical leader with 10+ years experience in application development for etch, patterning, or a related field. A top candidate will be proficient in driving multiple projects forward in parallel, leading a team of process engineers in developing new processes and capabilities, optimizing resources, communicating strategy effectively across the team, and managing customer engagements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nManage engineers in utilizing techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and new technologies and apply them to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on extremely complex systems for entire range of products for division\n\nInteract with key customers to resolve extremely complex process engineering issues to address customers High Value Problems (HVP) for an entire range of products for the division\n\nEnsures effective product/technology demonstrations\n\nManages experimental tests, evaluates results and escalates critical technology issues to management\n\nDetermines product process specifications and equipment strengths, weakness and area of developmental opportunity\n\nLeads collaboration efforts with executive managers and junior managers to ensure strategic execution\n\nLeads market share improvement efforts\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles within own job family and knowledge of other related job families\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Applies in-depth understanding of how own discipline integrates within the segment/function \n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Manages multiple related teams, sets organizational priorities and allocates resources \n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational and organizational problems \n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Impacts the business results of a team or area by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies and developing policies and plans\n * Guided by business unit, department or sub-functional business plans\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Influences others internally and externally, including senior management\n\n\n\nPosition requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
