Job Summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery is currently recruiting a Global Strategic Senior Marketing Manager to lead global brand strategy for SURGIFLO across the Biosurgery portfolio. The J&J MedTech Surgery franchise offers a broad range of products, platforms and technologies-including sutures, hemostasis products, surgical staplers, trocars, and synthetic mesh devices-that surgeons use in a wide variety of open and minimally invasive surgical procedures, and energy based surgical devices.

 

Join a highly engaged, motivated, and collaborative team to drive the ambition of the full J&J MedTech Biosurgery portfolio. The Senior Marketing Manager, SURGIFLO, GSM Biosurgery, will be responsible for leading projects and end-to-end management, including development and execution of global brand strategy, lifecycle initiatives, and commercial acceleration for the SURGIFLO franchise.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end global brand strategy for SURGIFLO, including segmentation, positioning, value proposition development, pricing strategy, claims, and lifecycle management.
  • Generate and translate customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable growth strategies that strengthen SURGIFLO’s leadership in adjunctive hemostasis, including use in difficult-to-access bleeding situations and minimally invasive surgery.
  • Serve as a key member of the cross-functional leadership team, partnering with R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Regional Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, GSI, and key customers to shape strategy, prioritize investments, and drive execution.
  • Provide commercial leadership across the innovation and lifecycle process, including voice-of-customer generation, business case development, target product profile input, evidence strategy support, and launch excellence for new claims, line extensions, or platform enhancements.
  • Drive achievement of project milestones within budget and timeline expectations, while ensuring compliance with all applicable country and regional requirements, company regulations, policies, and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of progressive business experience
  • 5 years of proven experience in Marketing or Sales
  • Experience with Marketing Excellence/Mastery, including Launch Excellence principles
  • Excellent cross-functional influencing skills and ability to develop customer relationships
  • Experience with Innovation (Insight Generation, Strategic Planning, Financial Modeling, etc.)

 

Preferred

  • An Advanced Degree (i.e., MBA, MS)
  • Experience in the healthcare industry and the Medical Device industry
  • Previous regional in-line marketing and/or Global marketing experience  
  • Experience in product development including needs assessment, portfolio management and product lifecycle management
  • Experience with supply chain, global brand management, influencing a Medical Device sales force and new product launch
  • Demonstrated experience developing and using customer insight
  • Proven ability to work in a Global organization with multi-disciplinary collaborators

    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
