Job Description

Facet is looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist who loves big ideas, fast‑moving teams, and the chance to shape something still growing. You’ll be the strategic marketing partner for key market sectors, working closely with leadership to guide direction, spark new thinking, and lead prime pursuits from early strategy through polished delivery. The role is perfect for someone who’s confident in executive‑level conversations, skilled at turning loose concepts into clear plans, and energized by balancing vision with hands‑on execution. Primary Responsibilities

Pursuit Leadership

• Lead and execute the full pursuit process for assigned market sectors


• Proposal layout using standardized InDesign templates, collaborating with graphic designers and subject matter experts


• Lead and/or support interview process


• Maintain high standards for marketing quality and consistency, ensuring materials align with firm brand standards while effectively communicating the firm’s value proposition.

Strategic Partnership

• Partner with market sector leaders as a strategic marketing resource, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate the firm’s visibility


• Support business development efforts through lead generation and opportunity tracking


• Optimize business acquisition processes to focus on effectiveness and efficiency

Data Management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing data within Deltek Vantagepoint, including lead and project information, client relationships, and resume data


• In collaboration with Creative and Brand Manager, maintain and coordinate project photography acquisition and storage using OpenAsset.

Market Conditioning

• Create and maintain website content on our WordPress-based website


• In partnership with assigned market sectors, lead the creation of written and visual content (eg, blogs, videos) to tell the Facet story


• Partner with Creative and Brand Manager to manage project photography

Internal Communications

• In partnership with Marketing Manager and Creative and Brand Manager, lead and create internal communication efforts, such as company newsletters and all-hands meetings

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, communications, journalism or related field


• 5-7 years experience in the AEC industry, with at least 2 years of leading prime pursuits


• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office365.


• Experience with a CRM, such as Deltek VantagePoint or Unanet Cosential, and OpenAsset


• Exceptional project management skills, especially when it comes to managing multiple deadlines


• Strong attention to detail balanced with an ability to see the big picture
