As we scale, you will play a critical hands-on role in building and maintaining the foundation of our inventory and material flow processes. This is a dynamic role for a dependable, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fluid startup environment. Your key responsibilities are as follows:
Execute daily material handling operations including receiving, inspection support, put-away, picking, kitting, and shipping.
Support JIT and other inventory strategies by ensuring accurate, timely material transactions and availability aligned with production schedules and customer commitments.
Perform and support pick-and-kit processes to meet production and engineering requirements.
Maintain warehouse organization including shipping/receiving, inspection staging, parts cleaning, and inventory control areas to ensure accuracy, throughput, and compliance.
Process transactions in ERP/MRP systems, including receipts, issues, transfers, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments with high accuracy.
Prepare domestic and international shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, documentation, and coordination with freight carriers.
Assist with inventory reporting, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities to maintain high inventory accuracy.
Identify material discrepancies or inventory risks and escalate issues appropriately to minimize production disruption.
Maintain full material traceability, labeling, and documentation to support audits, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
Collaborate successfully with team members across the organization in a way that fosters trust, and reinforces the company values.
This position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in supply chain, warehouse, or inventory control roles within a high-tech, photonics, electronics, or fast-paced manufacturing sector.
Skills:
Requires regular standing, walking, and the ability to lift and move materials up to 30–50 lbs as part of warehouse and material handling operations.
Ability to read part numbers, work instructions, and basic technical drawings to ensure accurate material handling and kitting.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining inventory accuracy and traceability.
Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) safely and efficiently.

The expected annual salary range for this position is $60,000-$85,000.
