Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are pro-actively recruiting for a Senior Nuclear Planner with a Utility client based in Surry VA. Below are the details for your reference.

Job Title: Senior Nuclear Planner 
Duration: 1 year – with intent to extend contingent on project need/performance.
Pay Rate: $66/hr. on w2 + benefits (Medical Insurance + 401k) + Per-diem of $100/day - $700/week
Location: Surry. VA 23883, ONSITE
Schedule: Typical schedule is 4-10s - Hybrid work schedule permitted (weekly: 3 days on-site; 1 day remote; monthly: 3 weeks on-site; 1 week remote)

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
• Detailed planning and scheduling experience (p6 scheduling software experience preferred)
• Has ability to inspire trust and generate rapport with individuals from different departments
• Working knowledge of key software tools and applications (e.g. Documentum, SharePoint, eSOMS, Maximo, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
• Effective presentation skills
• Ability to communicate across multiple workgroups and audiences using multiple means of communication
• Ability to drive alignment around planned project scopes of work
• Detail-oriented and has excellent organization skills
• Prefer 3+ years Power Station and/or large projects experience
