We are looking for a senior mechanical engineer to help design and build a next-generation concrete 3D printer that will shape the future of the construction industry.
This position will involve many leadership responsibilities as well as the prototyping, design, manufacture, and testing of various mechanical and electrical systems. The senior mechanical engineer will oversee design progress while keeping projects on an appropriate timeline, and may mentor junior engineers and delegate tasks.
In addition to several years of experience, the ideal candidate must be self-driven and enthusiastic to take initiative, while also being able to thrive in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Design skills for concept generation progression
- Skill in 3D CAD & in creating well-specified drawings
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, software engineers, electrical engineers, other mechanical engineers, and manufacturers
- Knowledge and experience with manufacturing
- Knowledge of electro-mechanical systems
- Skill in engineering analysis
- Experience setting timelines and budgets
- Management or leadership experience
- You enjoy hands-on, cross disciplinary work
- You work well in a startup environment
- You are enthusiastic about performing a wide range of tasks on a daily basis

- Robotics experience
- CNC experience
- Electronics experience
- Familiarity with construction processes
