Senior Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a leader in the consulting, design, and engineering industry, has an immediate need for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to be a part of their team in their Greer, SC office. This is a direct hire position working for the client.This person must be a great communicator and work well independently. The successful candidate will alo be highly organized, be a team player, and take ownership of all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing mechanical and process systems for projects that range from simple to complex.


• Developing design solutions for mechanical utility systems such as compressed air, natural gas, chilled water, and steam.


• Coordinating with design team members as well as interacting and collaborating with clients, vendors, and contractors


• Directing workflow of engineers, designers, and drafters.


• Managing changes in project scope.


• Assisting with project services throughout construction, including field verification, site inspections, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.


• Professional Engineering (PE) license.


• 8–10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering within architectural engineering (A/E), particularly supporting chemical, heavy industrial, or manufacturing projects.


• Experience with HVAC systems in a manufacturing and industrial setting, preferrably in non-standard environements such as operating rooms or clean rooms where exchange rates are critical.


• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office required.


• Knowledge of Navisworks and Revit is advantageous.


• Technical Writing ability.


• Exceptional communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.


• Ability to travel as needed.
