As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of high-quality HVAC and plumbing systems while serving as the primary point of contact for clients and project teams. You will combine technical expertise with leadership and mentorship, guiding owners through system selection decisions and overseeing project staff. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills and thrives in balancing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership & Technical Expertise
Lead HVAC and plumbing system design decisions, ensuring efficient, accurate, and code-compliant outcomes.
Perform facility assessments, site verifications, and project quality assurance reviews.
Break down complex systems into understandable components for clients and team members.
Drive innovation and advance best practices across projects.
Project Management & Client Engagement
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, owners, and design professionals.
Guide owners in making informed, cost-effective system selection decisions.
Manage multiple project priorities and deadlines.
Provide responsive and thorough construction administration services, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site visits.
Mentorship & Team Development
Mentor and oversee junior staff, fostering their technical and professional growth.
Model professional communication, leadership, and accountability within project teams.
Create an approachable environment that encourages collaboration and learning.
Documentation & Software Utilization
Oversee development of coordinated construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
Ensure compliance with internal design standards, applicable codes, and project requirements.
Utilize industry and company software (Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, COMcheck, Trane Trace700, Outlook, Excel, Word, LiquidPlanner) to manage projects accurately and efficiently.

Required Qualifications
Authorization to work in the U.S.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
8+ years of relevant mechanical design and project management experience
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
