Senior Mechanical Engineer - Generous Compensation

Essential Functions:

Supports and/or performs mechanical component design and documentation with a focus on electronic assemblies.

Supports and/or performs thermal analysis and structural analysis.

Contributes to the design and analysis of complex electronic systems into ground, air, and space platforms.

Applies basic principles, theories, concepts within the mechanical engineering field and working knowledge of related disciplines.

Contributes to all aspects of the engineering process, from design through field testing to product development.

Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering

Years of Experience: 10-15 years

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency with Solidworks CAD and ANSYS workbench

Proficiency with GD&T and mechanical drawings

Design of machined metal parts for electrical systems

Proficiency with structural and thermal FEA / FEM

Design for manufacturability

Ability to obtain, and maintain, a DoD security clearance
