Senior Mechanical Engineer - Theme Park Rides & Entertainment Systems

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical system design for theme park rides and large-scale engineering projects in Orlando. This is a hands-on role involving full system design, stress and load calculations, hazard and risk assessments, and field commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement mechanical systems from concept to installation
• Perform stress, fatigue, and load analysis for complex assemblies
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure safety and reliability
• Create mechanical drawings and assemblies using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Troubleshoot pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Lead technical teams and supervise contractors
• Manage smaller projects, including schedules, budgets, and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7-10 years of mechanical engineering experience, including full system design
• Theme park ride or entertainment system design experience preferred
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Knowledge of stress analysis, fatigue, and risk assessment
• Ability to travel up to 35%
