Looking for a detailed oriented, organized and

experienced

Medical Billing Specialist who has extensive knowledge of medical coding, can send out and post claims, and oversee accounts receivable.
This is a part time position, 20-25 hrs/week.
Pay range is $20-25 /hr.

Responsibilities
Manage outgoing billing processes to insurance companies and post payments
Navigate and process PIP program claims
Oversee accounts receivable and implement effective collection strategies
Conduct thorough reviews of new patients benefits and coverage
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all billing and documentation tasks
utilize strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
Handle electronic medical records with proficiency and maintain accurate patients records
Provide excellent customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries

Qualifications
-Proven experience as a Medcial Billing Specialis
-Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
-Strong knowledge of medical coding and billing processes, including insurance claims and collections
-Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
-Exceptional organizational and time management skills
-Ability to work independently and as a team
-Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Word
-Certification in Medical Billing and Coding is preferred but not required
