Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior MES Engineer to lead Manufacturing Execution System implementations for life sciences and industrial automation clients. This role combines technical leadership with project management responsibilities for MES solutions up to $1M in value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement MES solutions that meet regulatory requirements
• Lead project teams through all implementation phases
• Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules (up to $1M projects)
• Configure integrated EBR recipes and system interfaces
• Ensure solutions reduce downtime and improve compliance
• Travel to client sites (up to 25%)
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians

• Education: Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences
• Experience:
• 10+ years implementing MES solutions (Werum PAS-X, Sepasoft, or POMS preferred)
• Full lifecycle project experience (design through commissioning) in life sciences
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP5, S88, and S95 standards
• Experience integrating MES with DeltaV, SAP, LIMS, and other enterprise systems
• Technical Skills:
• SQL/Oracle databases
• IT/OT networking
• Historian technology and reporting systems
• MS Office proficiency
• Soft Skills:
• Technical leadership and team mentoring
• Excellent communication and technical writing
• Problem-solving in regulated environments
