Senior Microsoft System Engineer

Looking for a hands-on Microsoft senior-expert with deep understanding of enterprise environments and strong ownership.

The role involves managing and supporting Microsoft infrastructure and cloud services across multiple regions, with a focus on identity, endpoint management, collaboration tools, and automation.

As a Cognyter you will:

• Design and manage Active Directory (on‑prem & hybrid) across global environments
• Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) at scale
• Manage Microsoft Intune (endpoint management, compliance, device lifecycle)
• Design and maintain SSO solutions (Azure AD / Entra ID integrations)
• Work with Azure services (identity, integrations, core infrastructure)
• Maintain and troubleshoot DNS and core network services
• Lead and implement automation (Ansible, PowerShell)
• Ensure system security, availability, and performance globally
• Drive improvements and best practices across systems and processes
• Collaborate across international teams and stakeholders

For that mission you'll need:

• 5+ years of experience, with strong hands-on expertise
• Proven experience as a Microsoft infrastructure expert
• Deep knowledge of:

1. Active Directory (on-prem & hybrid - design, replication, GPO strategy, hardening)
2. Microsoft Intune (compliance, configuration profiles, Autopilot)
3. Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, identity, user lifecycle, mail flow, hybrid, security, anti-spam/phishing)
4. Azure / Entra ID (Conditional Access, Identity Protection, SSO, Hybrid identity, integrations)
5. DNS and networking fundamentals
6. Hybrid Identity (AD Connect / Cloud Sync, troubleshooting, design)

• Hands-on experience with:

1. Automation (Ansible, PowerShell)
2. SSO / identity integrations

• Very good English (spoken and written)
• Strong troubleshooting, ownership, and problem-solving mindset

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Intune / Endpoint Manager)
• Experience working in global or enterprise environments
• Strong automation mindset
