Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair efforts on critical production equipment, including large-scale presses, CNC machines, and specialized grinding equipment.
• Develop and refine preventative maintenance procedures, contributing to the optimization of our overall PM program.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior Millwrights and Maintenance Technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
• Perform precision alignments, rebuild components, and execute major overhauls of industrial machinery.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and interpret detailed technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to identify root causes of failures.
• Fabricate, modify, and install complex machine parts and structural components using advanced welding, machining, and cutting techniques.
• Oversee and execute rigging operations for the safe relocation and installation of heavy machinery.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all maintenance activities within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), analyzing data for trends and improvement opportunities.
• Champion safety initiatives and ensure strict adherence to all Lockout/Tagout procedures and other safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Journeyman Millwright certification with 7+ years of progressive industrial maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in a heavy manufacturing setting.
• Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting intricate blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication skills.
• Proven experience with CMMS for detailed documentation and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of industrial safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC diagnostics and minor programming adjustments (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Previous experience in a lead or mentoring role within an industrial maintenance team.
• Certification and extensive experience operating various heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts, man-lifts, overhead cranes).
• Knowledge of vibration analysis or other predictive maintenance technologies.
• Background in automotive component manufacturing or similar high-volume, precision environments.
