POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Senior Master Controls Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your primary role will involve the maintenance, repair, calibration, and optimization of electronic control systems across our production lines. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of equipment and technologies, from legacy systems to state-of-the-art machinery, while contributing to the success of our company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Adhere to established safety procedures and 5 “S” standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain the cycle) required to perform daily duties in this position, including the proper techniques used in lifting/moving of parts
- Design, plan, construct and modify electrical systems and panels including electronic components and mechanical assemblies for new and used equipment. Install new or used equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on electronic control systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, sensors, actuators, and other control components.
- Repair or replace defective electronic parts or components to restore functionality and prevent production disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, production supervisors, and maintenance personnel, to address technical issues and implement solutions.
- Calibrate and tune control systems to maintain accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and control systems.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and troubleshooting procedures accurately to facilitate knowledge transfer and training.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation technology and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance productivity and reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements while working with electronic control systems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
- This position does not have any supervisory responsibility.
WORKING ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
- May be exposed to moderate heat, light dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, noise and hazards such as electrical shock or gases. Some outside assignments could involve exposure to adverse weather conditions. Adequate hearing protection is required for 85 decibels and above.
SCHEDULE:
- 8-hour Day Shift Monday through Friday
