Responsibilities of the right candidate:
Identify and advocate for improvements to product quality, security, and performance for clients and services.
Consistently design code that is aligned with the overall service architecture.
Operate mostly as an individual contributor and execute your own tasks.
Collaborate with team members to solve complex software problems across many applications, technologies, and toolsets.
Consistently write production-ready code across large, complex projects.
influence objectives and long-term goals of the team.
Identify multiple solutions for a problem, and with some guidance, determine which solution is the best.
Mentor Engineers on the team to help them grow in their technical responsibilities and remove blockers to their autonomy.
Design standalone systems of moderate complexity, or major new features in existing system.

7+ years of experience in software development.
Experience with .NET web software stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
Experience with IDEs such as Visual Studio or VS Code.
Light understanding of Java would be helpful.
Experience with front-end languages and frameworks including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and/or Bootstrap.
Experience with relational database design and writing SQL queries.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience building APIs and a demonstrated understanding of common API architecture practices.
