Senior NVM Validation Engineer

Job Summary:

Part of a world leading research & development organization of embedded Non-Volatile Memory (NVM) for leading edge applications.

Individuals will participate in application code development, validation, technology / Intellectual Property (I.P.) debug, characterization and optimization of next generation NVM technologies to ensure performance and reliability targets are met for the vast NVM applications in NXP products (automotive, microcontrollers, security, machine learning, IOT, secure transactions, etc.)

The individual will participate in I.P. definition / patent opportunities, technology development, customer application support and the associated development of infrastructure and methodologies.

The individual will work closely in a cross functional team environment with device, design, verification, product / test and reliability engineers to efficiently develop NVM technologies.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.

5+yrs working as a Validation, Verification, DfT or Test Engineer.

Experience with software development in C/C++, Ruby, Python or LabVIEW is an advantage.

Worked on Memory IP or technology is preferred.

Experience with using Automated Testers (Ultraflex)  , NI and bench equipment is an advantage.

Experience with use of JMP statistical software is a plus.  

Strong analytical skills are an advantage.

Proven teamwork, communication, leadership & strong problem-solving skills to identify root cause & innovative solutions for new issues / opportunities.
