Job Description - Senior Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Operations Manager to oversee our 3PL facilities. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining accurate inventory levels, streamlining operational processes, managing budgets, tracking performance metrics, and integrating technology solutions. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, optimize resource utilization, and enhance productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.
Role and Responsibilities:

Inventory Accuracy Management :
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
Conduct regular audits and establish cycle count requirements to validate inventory accuracy and address discrepancies promptly.
Process Development and Improvement :
Develop, document, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) between Tineco and 3PL to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Continuously assess and refine operational processes to enhance productivity and reduce errors.
Budget Management and Cost Control :
Monitor and manage operational budgets to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining high levels of service.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize resource utilization and reduce operational expenses.
Performance Metrics and Reporting :
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and present regular reports on inventory accuracy, process efficiency, and budget adherence to senior management.
Technology and Systems Integration :
Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate systems and ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business or other related fields.
7-10+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain and Operations related functions, with specific experience operating in global organization.
Strong working knowledge of shipping, warehousing and inventory control practices, as well as computerized ordering/inventory tracking systems
Solid working knowledge of retail distribution channels and service level requirements.
Experience in re-designing or implementing new processes.
Proven history of managing ambiguity and complexity in growing organization.
Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels with internal and external stakeholders, both in the USA and China.
Strong interpersonal and conversational skills, comfortable presenting to larger audiences.
Ability to listen, think strategically and execute tactically to push the business forward.
Excels in balancing competing priorities and prioritizing key business objectives.

Salary Range:

$150,000-160,000
