Senior Paint Line Operator P-2 Night Shift (11:00pm-7:30am)

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:

 The following lists the principle activities associated with the position of Senior Paint Line Operator.

• Operate paint line equipment according to work instructions


• Prepare paint solvent mix


• Check product dimensions with use of various indicators and gauges as described in procedures and/or work instructions.


• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.


• Operate roll coaters to adjust pain spray gun nozzles in order to get the proper paint flow


• Monitor machine temperature by reading the control for each oven.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

• Sprayers

SAFETY:

• Understand and follow all safety procedures

  • Wears all required PPE when necessary (steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear plugs)
  
  
  
  


• Understand Lock Out Tag Out procedures for assigned areas.


• Perform duties according to OSHA guidelines, policies and procedures


• Complete General Plant Safety Training within the first 8 weeks.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.


• Must be able to work long periods while continuously standing, twisting, bending, reaching, and stooping.


• Must be able to work environment which is dusty and noisy.


• Must be able to work in plant environment with extreme seasonal temperatures.
