Job Description:
Assist and participate in commercial transactions, contract review, drafting and negotiations between its suppliers and consultants, as well as certain additional project work streams.
The work will support the business clients of the Technology Practice Group, which include Global Technology and Customer Experience.
Draft, review and negotiate service and related license contracts in accordance with established protocols and attorney guidance.
Lead negotiations on agreements such as NDAs and Statements of Work.
Resolve routine negotiations and consult with attorneys when complex legal questions arise.
Prioritize matters for handling and processing in a timely manner.
Develop daily working relationships with business clients.
Work closely with Attorneys and Legal Assistants.
Engage regularly with business clients and suppliers.
Is an active participant and promotes a shared responsibility for achieving results.
Communicates information in a clear and concise manner.
Qualifications:
Professional Paralegal with material commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.
5+ years preferred.
Must be well organized and looking for a challenge.
Able to balance conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Able to handle multiple projects at varying stages of the contracting process.
Demonstrates professional integrity.
Exercises good judgment in handling sensitive information.
Capable of confidently engaging with senior staff on commercial matters.
Comfortable in a paperless environment with electronic documents.

Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
