OpenLoop is looking for a Senior People Partner R&D to act as the strategic architect of our global R&D organization. Partnering directly with the CTO and CISO, you will design and execute the enterprise-wide roadmap for a world-class engineering, product, and data team. This isn't about maintaining the status quo; it’s about redefining the identity of R&D at OpenLoop. You will lead the People side of a massive transformation, building multi-site global hubs (both in-person and remote) and upleveling our leadership tier to meet the demands of a scaling digital health leader.
Partner with the CTO & CISO to design and launch a global R&D management strategy. You will own the organizational design for multiple new sites, balancing the complexities of local labor markets with a unified global culture.
Lead the functional vision for R&D’s. You’ll move beyond existing frameworks to build a culture of innovation that works seamlessly across remote and in-person environments.
Serve as a strategic advisor and coach to the R&D leadership team. You will identify gaps in leadership capability and implement strategies to transform managers into enterprise-level leaders.
Address multi-dimensional organizational constraints by building flexible, business-aligned processes. You aren't just following a handbook; you are creating the right solutions that balance compliance with high-growth agility.
Serve as the strategic lead for all R&D people initiatives, operating with the autonomy of an internal consultant to the CTO.
Drive direction across Finance, Talent, and Operations to ensure the R&D infrastructure is built for scale, serving as the bridge between technical needs and business outcomes.
You have 12+ years with a significant portion spent building or transforming R&D organizations in high-growth tech.
You have successfully built teams and understand how to maintain culture across different geographies and work models.
You are comfortable sitting at the table with the CTO and C-Suite, providing the strategic insights that shape organizational thinking.
You excel when there is no playbook. You can take a vague business goal and turn it into a concrete, scalable people process.
You understand that process is a tool for output and can pivot quickly to do what is right for the business as the R&D identity evolves.
