This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Pharmacovigilance Medical Manager (Remote). In this role, you will be a vital contributor to a global team that manages regulatory activities related to pharmacovigilance. Your expertise will assist in the maintenance of pharmacovigilance systems, ensure compliance with ADE reporting regulations, and support signal detection efforts. This role requires collaboration with international stakeholders, as well as the ability to prepare analytical reports that influence safety profiles of products. Your impact will be felt across multiple regions and will ensure enhanced safety and efficacy in animal health.
Accountabilities
- Good understanding of ADE reporting regulations (US and EU) and trending standards.
- Collaborate with the signal management team for validation activities on assigned products.
- Prepare trending reports and make recommendations on safety and efficacy adjustments.
- Negotiate with regulatory agencies for ADE report submissions.
- Assist in the design of pharmacovigilance policies as needed.
- Maintain pharmacovigilance electronic systems and perform trend analysis.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned product group(s).
- Provide pharmacovigilance input for advertising and promotional material.
- Support risk mitigation and global regulatory label defense activities.
- Complete pharmacovigilance data requests and health hazard assessments.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD).
- 5+ years of experience in the Veterinary Pharmaceutical Industry including pharmacovigilance.
- Graduate degree or diploma in animal science, epidemiology, or related experience is a plus.
- Ability to review and analyze pharmacovigilance data for trend development.
- Knowledge of FDA/USDA and international ADE reporting regulations is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure in a matrix environment.
- Experience with database software and pharmacovigilance systems is desirable.
