Our

Senior Planner

position provides professional planning support and analysis related to asset management, performance measures, and capital investments. Work will include development of the Transportation Asset Management Plan, the 10-year Capital Highway Investment Plan, 20-year State Highway Investment Plan, and other related planning studies, capital programs, and performance reports. This position carries out research, analysis, and outreach in support of agency initiatives to advance performance-based planning and capital investment planning.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Three years of professional transportation planning experience that demonstrates:

Experience with planning principles, methods, and techniques.

Experience with statistical analysis with spreadsheet or database applications.

Experience applying the theory and practice of public engagement.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Planning, Geography, Urban Studies, Sociology, Political Science substitutes for one year of professional transportation planning experience.
